The Pembrokeshire Chronicles: 3rd August

  • Arrived safe and sound in Saundersfoot. Two weeks’ holiday starts here. #
  • First holiday shower; thermostat has a mind of its own. Washing in instalments as water temperature fluctuates between freezing and boiling. #
  • I think I’ve just seen Nicky Wire from the Manic Street Preachers in Tenby. #
  • In Tenby. Lower Frog Street has to be the best road name ever; after Upper Frog Street that is, of course. #

  1. Eeeee Tenby – I remeber a scorching camping holiday in the eighties at Kiln Park Camp. Happy Days. And City won – did you see it?

  2. Kiln Park is still there; we drove past it a couple of times as we went hither and thither. The weather was far from scorching, however, although a good time was had by all.

Sadly no City viewing. We only had an analogue TV rendering all the matches I was aware of as either unavailable (ITV4) or unwatchable (five).
